Riverhounds Academy and Pittsburgh Riveters SC defender Natalia DiSora was selected for the United States Under-18 Women’s National Team Training Camp running today through July 1 in Fayetteville, Ga.
The purpose of the camp, which will run concurrently with a camp for the Under-19 team, is to bring together players who will be in the eligible player pool for the 2026 FIFA Women’s Under-20 World Cup, which will be played in Poland during September 2026.
It is the first time being called into U.S. camp for DiSora, a standout for the Riverhounds Academy’s 2006/07 ECNL Girls team. She is a rising senior at Upper St. Clair High School, where she was an all-state player as a junior, and a Wake Forest commit.
Her call-up comes on the heels of an outstanding USL W League season with the Riveters, where she has played every minute at center back for the team in its inaugural season. The Riveters are 5-1-3 and leading the Great Forest Division entering the final weekend of the season. DiSora will be unavailable for Friday’s match against Steel City FC, but she would be available for selection during the W League Playoffs.
